My family background is in real estate in the South Carolina lowcountry and Grand Strand area so I believe my passion for real estate is a part of my DNA. I always knew that I would eventually continue the family legacy. After studying Middle Grades Education at Georgia Southern University and then starting my teaching career on Johns Island I also began pursuing real estate. What began as a part-time interest has progressed into full-time dedication. When I am not making home ownership dreams come true for my clients and guiding them through one of the biggest investments of their lives, I enjoy spending time on the boat or the beach with my husband and two daughters.
When I was a first time home seller (before I became a Realtor), two real estate agents told me I was crazy for the amount of money I wanted from the sale. They also told me it would be next to impossible to buy a new house without selling my current home first. When I asked for help and what they suggested instead, they had zero solutions for me. I don’t want you to feel the way I felt in that moment, confused and seriously questioning the efficacy of real estate agents.
We're very thankful Louisa accepted our challenge to be our Favorite Realtor. Mind you, we were demanding clients; we want it all! Some of our requirements for our new Location, Location, Location property were: to be near Grandchildren, BIG VIEW, deep water at low tide, elbow room for various vehicles, "Plum out of the City/Nearly out of the Country", and a grocery store close enough that our milk's still cold when we arrive Home. Perhaps we were the impossible customers; nevertheless, Louisa made this search FUN while keeping our spirits high. Nice Neighbors, here we come!

"Louisa made this search FUN"
When it comes to buying and selling at the same time, planning is KEY to making sure you don’t end up with two homes or no homes and you can smoothly go from one home to the next without having to move twice or put everything in storage. The best way to start is to be very well educated about the process—what needs to happen and when it needs to happen to get things done on the timeline that you set.
Louisa is the consummate pro. She is very thorough, follow up is excellent and doesn't miss a trick. All this with a most congenial personality. Doesn't get any better than that. We have bought and sold over a dozen houses and this was by far our best experience.

I wouldn’t buy or sell my home without Louisa! She is such a great listener and is interested in finding out your goals and priorities so that she can help find the best match in a home for you. She is resourceful and will work within your budget. I highly recommend working with Louisa!
